Take me to The Lakes

Have you ever had a happy place? For me, that’s the Lake District.

Anyone who knows me knows that Windermere is my favourite place in the world. It’s where I feel most at peace and me and my girlfriend spend absolutely any free weekend that we can up there. We love to explore the many little villages surrounding the lake, with Ambleside being a firm favourite. Our mandatory evening boat cruises have become woven into the fabric of our summer and it is somewhat of a New Year tradition to open our Christmas stockings for each other under the cosy lights of whichever AirBnB we have chosen (we have our favourites of those too, of course!)

Now although I could talk forever about every perfect little spot in The Lakes, that isn’t necessarily what this post is about. (DM me if you need any recs!)

The feeling I get when I’m in The Lakes is one of complete calm and distance from anything stressful. A feeling I wanted to bring into my business. Just like The Lakes, NBV is about balance: still waters underneath, no matter how busy life gets on the surface.

When I was working on my brand refresh, I knew I wanted a tagline that truly reflected me and the way I work with clients. That’s where I found:

“The anchor and ally for your business”

The anchor is me as the steady force behind your business. The one who keeps things grounded and consistent so you can focus on the parts you love, while knowing the behind the scenes will remain secure and organised.

The ally comes from my choice to work with neurodivergent, LGBTQ+ and female business owners, tailoring my services to fit their individual needs with a kind and supportive approach. Being an ally means creating space where your business can thrive exactly as you are.

This new tagline feels like the perfect mix of professionalism, identity and a little piece of me.

I can’t wait to return to my happy place very soon, pictures will definitely follow and maybe a blog post with my top recommendations!
